Bundoran has been a tourism destination since the 18th century. It’s location on the Atlantic Coast on a long sandy beach made it an ideal seaside resort which has been hugely popular as a holiday location.
In latter years it has become one of Ireland’s leading surfing destinations because of the quality, consistency and variety of the surf with waves of all sizes suitable for beginners to advanced.

The main beach in Bundoran is one of eleven Blue Flag beaches in County Donegal in 2021.

There is some stunning scenery in the vicinity of the town with lots of outdoor activity including walking, swimming, surfing, angling, golfing and lots more

The Waterworld complex is an indoor water park with a wave pool, rapids, slides, a toddler pool and lots more. It is a great place to take children on a rainy day.

There is an 18-hole par 70 Golf Course in a great location skirting the Atlantic Ocean.
