Bunbeg is a pretty fishing village in the Gweedore area of the west of County Donegal.
Set in a quiet sheltered cove the village has a pier for fishing boats and leisure craft.
The harbour in Bunbeg County Donegal is the embarkment point for the Tory Island Ferry.
The Maheraclogher Beach Trail is a 3.5 kilometer loop trail located nearby and takes in the wreck known as Bad Eddie’s Boat. This is a shipwreck, known as Bád Eddie. ‘Bád’ mean boat in Irish language.
